TÜRKİYE’DE MÜZİK ALANINDA RİTİM, TARTIM, USÛL, DÜZÜM VE METRİK ÜZERİNE YAZILAN LİSANSÜSTÜ TEZLERİN BİBLİYOMETRİK ANALİZİ

Abstract
Bu araştırma, Yükseköğretim Kurulu (YÖK) Ulusal Tez Merkezi Veri Tabanı’nda müzik alanında ritim, tartım, usûl, düzüm ve metrik üzerine yayımlanmış lisansüstü tezlerin bibliyometrik analizini gerçekleştirmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Ritim olgusu, Türk halk müziği, Türk sanat müziği ve genel müzik eğitimi alanlarında ele alınmakta; kavramsal çeşitliliğiyle dikkat çekmektedir. Bu bağlamda çalışma, alan yazında ritim ekseninde üretilmiş akademik tezlerin kavramsal özelliklerini ortaya koymayı hedeflemektedir.
Tarama modeline dayalı olarak gerçekleştirilen bu nicel yöntem araştırmasında, araştırma verisi olan tezler doküman incelemesi yöntemiyle YÖK Ulusal Tez Merkezi Veri Tabanı’ndan toplanmıştır. Toplanan veriler sistematik tarama yöntemiyle çözümlenmiş; bu süreçte betimsel analiz yaklaşımı doğrultusunda tez türüne, yayımlandıkları yıllara, üniversitelere, konularına ve alanlarına göre tematik olarak sınıflandırılarak araştırmanın bulgular bölümünde sunulmuştur.
Araştırma sonucunda, toplam 249 adet lisansüstü tez incelenmiş olup, bu tezlerin 217'sinin (%87,1) yüksek lisans, 22'sinin (%8,8) doktora ve 10'unun (%4) sanatta yeterlik tezi olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Tezlerin üniversitelere göre dağılımında İstanbul Teknik Üniversitesi öne çıkarken, konusal dağılımda ise usûl kavramının (%53) en fazla araştırılan kavram olduğu görülmüştür. Türk sanat müziği (%37,3) ve Türk halk müziği (%32,9) alanlarındaki çalışmaların genel müzik eğitimi alanına (%29,7) kıyasla daha yoğun olduğu belirlenmiştir.

Abstract
This research aims to conduct a bibliometric analysis of graduate theses written on rhythm, meter, usûl (rhythmic cycle in Turkish music), structure, and metric, available on the Council of Higher Education (CoHE) National Thesis Center Database. The rhythm phenomenon is covered in Turkish folk music, classical Turkish music, and general music education, and it draws attention with its conceptual diversity. In this context, the study aims to reveal conceptual properties of graduate theses written within the scope of rhythm in the literature.
In this quantitative research which is based on a survey model, the data which are graduate theses were collected from the CoHE National Thesis Center Database with document review method. The collected data were analyzed using systematic review method. In this process, a descriptive analysis approach was followed, and the theses were thematically classified according to their types, publication years, universities, concepts, and subject areas. The findings were then presented in the results section of the study.
As a result of research, 249 graduate theses were examined and it was found that 217 (87.1%) of them are master’s theses, 22 of them are doctoral dissertations of PhD (8.8%), and 10 (4%) of them are doctoral dissertations of proficiency in fine arts. In the distribution of theses by universities, Istanbul Technical University stands out, while in the distribution based on terminology, the term usûl emerges as the most frequently researched term (53%). Studies in the fields of Turkish classical music (37.3%) and Turkish folk music (32.9%) were found to be more prevalent compared to those in general music education (29.7%).
