This study aims to reveal the general overview of graduate theses written on mixing and mastering within the field of music technology in Türkiye between 2014 and 2025. Within the scope of the research, 18 graduate theses indexed in the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) National Thesis Center database, which directly focus on these subjects, were examined.
The methodology of the research is based on the survey model, one of the quantitative research designs. The obtained data were analyzed using bibliometric analysis techniques across variables including years, universities, departments, thesis types, and thematic titles.
According to the research results, 14 of the analyzed theses are at the Master's level, while 4 are at the Doctoral level. It is observed that academic production peaked in 2024 with 6 theses and has gained numerical momentum in recent years. On an institutional basis, Bahçeşehir University (6 theses) and Istanbul Technical University (5 theses) emerge as the leading contributors to the field. In terms of themes, it was determined that the studies predominantly concentrate under the titles of "Auditory Perception and Aesthetics" (6 theses) and "Artificial Intelligence and Automation" (5 theses). The results indicate that academic development in Türkiye has evolved from traditional approaches toward artificial intelligence and spatial audio technologies in recent years.
